GM3 Appin Mine is proud to continue its support of the Appin Men’s Shed, with a $50,000 combined contribution through the Community Partnership Program and a direct donation by the mine.
The funding will support the Shed’s 2026 Extension Project, which will increase space and facilities for the men of Appin to connect, build hands-on skills and support community wellbeing.
The Appin Men’s Shed is part of the Australia-wide Men’s Shed Association (AMSA), a not-for-profit organisation supporting more than 1,300 Men’s and Community Sheds. Recognised as one of Australia’s largest male-based community development organisations, AMSA is centred around mateship and creating inclusive spaces for local men to knock about with a group of like-minded mates.
