GM3 Appin Mine was proud to be the major sponsor of the Appin Junior Rugby League Football Club’s Women in League Round on Saturday 25 July 2026.
Teams took to the field kitted in special GM3 branded commemorative jerseys, celebrating the women who play a vital role in the game, their club and the wider community.
We were thrilled to be part of such a special weekend, and have Vicky, Manager of our Appin Mine West Cliff Coal Prep Plant, present the Women in League Legacy Cup.
Through community donations, the event raised over $1,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, helping fund vital breast cancer research.
